Sidebar Overview Dashboard

Dashboard opens on Today, with the date above it. Everything on it is for the home you are currently in. Under the heading there is a row of tiles, and under the tiles three tabs: Needs attention, Children and My shift. You open on My shift.

On a narrow screen the tiles are hidden and the tabs are the page.

The tiles

Each tile is also a shortcut to the tab that holds the detail.

Tile What it shows
Logs due this shift How many are still to record, with "N of N recorded". Opens Children.
Handover Ready or Not ready, with the shift and its times. Opens My shift.
To read and confirm Plans and risk assessments waiting for you to read and confirm, and how long the oldest has been waiting. Opens Needs attention.
Tasks on your list Only appears when you have open tasks assigned to you.

Children

This is where you record. With more than one young person you get a chip for each, showing how many logs are done and how many are due; select one to see their card. With one young person, the card is open straight away.

The card lists Still to do, Done today and As needed. A log that is still to do says Due, Due this shift or Due by a time, and turns to Overdue once that has passed. Select a row to record it. Additional logs, Incident and Today's journal are on the card too. See Record a log.

My shift

  • Shift handover — whether the handover has notes in it yet, with Open handover (or Start handover if none has been started), and All handovers. See Hand over a shift.
  • Logs due this shift — one row for each young person still missing a log, and one for each log that is for the home, each with a Record button.
  • Appointments — today's, then Next up, with a link to the Calendar.
  • Your tasks — house tasks and tasks assigned to you that are still open, overdue first, then due today. All tasks opens the full list.

Needs attention

Anything waiting on you: plans and risk assessments to read and confirm (Open to read), and records a manager has sent back to you for changes (Reopen). Rows are grouped under Read and confirm and Returned to you. If there is nothing, it says You're all caught up.

What you won't see here

Overdue deadlines across the home and records waiting for review are on the senior and manager dashboards. See The manager dashboard.
