WHERE THIS LIVES IN ARC
Sidebar Overview Dashboard

If your role in the home is safeguarding lead, Dashboard opens on Safeguarding instead of the staff or manager page, headed "What needs a designated safeguarding lead's attention in this home." Every row is a real record and opens it.

You also need the designation to see anything. The page checks that you are a designated safeguarding lead for this home, because it lists concerns marked DSL-private. Without it you see "Only a designated safeguarding lead for this home can see this dashboard." See DSL-private records.

What is on it

At the top, any plans and risk assessments waiting for you to read and confirm.

Section What it holds
New concerns to acknowledge Concerns raised in the last 7 days and not yet acknowledged
Open concerns with no incident linked Open concerns not yet tied to an incident record
Open safeguarding incidents With a note of how many have been quiet for 7 days or more, and a No update in 7 days marker on each
Concerns by child How many were raised for each young person in the last 30 days

A concern marked private shows Private to DSL, and a high-risk one shows High risk. Each row shows the young person, who raised it and how long ago. Select a row to open it in the child's safeguarding workspace.

Allegations against staff are deliberately not on this page. They are only on their own access-gated record. If nothing is waiting, each section says so.

If the page cannot load, it says "The safeguarding dashboard could not be loaded." The records themselves are still in each young person's safeguarding workspace.
