What you're seeing. No safeguarding workspace in your sidebar — or a not-found page if you have the link.

Why it happens. This is the most commonly misunderstood thing in ARC. There are two separate things with similar names:

The safeguarding lead role, given when someone is invited as "safeguarding". It changes which dashboard you land on. It grants no record access.
The DSL designation, assigned separately, per home. This is what opens the workspace and the concerns.

Holding the role without the designation is the usual cause. The page returns not-found rather than access-denied, deliberately — the existence of safeguarding records is not advertised.

How to fix it. Ask a company admin to add the DSL designation for your home. A home manager cannot do this.
