Your company logo
Upload a logo and it appears on every PDF ARC exports. What the file needs to be, and why SVG won't work.
ARC's PDF exports leave your building. A journal day goes to a social worker; a report goes to an inspector. The logo is what makes those documents read as yours.
Where it goes
Once uploaded, the logo is "Added to the top of every PDF you export — journals, plans, reports and reviews."
It changes exports only. It does not appear in the app itself.
You can also add it while you set up. The setup wizard asks "Want to add your logo?" — "It goes on the reports and documents ARC produces for you." — with Choose a file and Skip for now, and Remove logo once one is uploaded. It is the same logo with the same file rules. See Set up your company with the setup wizard.
Existing PDFs are unaffected — a PDF is a file that was already generated. The logo shows on new exports from the moment you upload it.
Upload it
- Sidebar, Company Admin, then the Company information tile — "Your company's name and details". The page is headed Company Information.
- Scroll to the Logo card. With nothing uploaded it reads "No logo yet. Exports will be unbranded."
- Select Upload logo and choose the file.
The preview appears immediately. ARC's confirmation is "Logo updated. It will appear on new PDF exports."
Uploading again replaces the current logo rather than adding to it — the card's label changes to Replace logo once one is in place, and the old file is removed.
What the file needs to be
| Formats | PNG, JPG or WebP |
| Maximum size | 1 MB |
| Best shape | Wide, on a transparent or white background |
SVG is not supported. This is not an oversight — the PDF engine silently discards an SVG, so the file would upload cleanly, preview correctly, and then be missing from every export. ARC refuses it up front instead.
If your logo only exists as an SVG, export a wide PNG at a generous size and use that.
Removing it
Select Remove beside the preview. ARC asks first: "Remove the logo? New PDF exports will be unbranded." New exports go back to unbranded; nothing already generated changes.
Where the file is kept
The logo is stored privately, not on a public URL, and its bytes are embedded into each PDF rather than linked. That means an exported document still shows the logo when it is read offline, or forwarded on by someone with no access to ARC.
Uploading and removing are both recorded in your company's audit log.
