Company analytics
Monthly counts of incidents, restraint, missing episodes and complaints across every home you run.
Analytics is a read-only trend view: four numbers, counted month by month, across every home in your company. It is the view you want before a Reg 45, a board meeting, or a conversation about whether restraint is going up.
Nothing here is entered. Every figure is counted from records your team has already written.
Getting there
Sidebar, Company Admin, Analytics. Registered managers can open it too — they see their own company's figures, never anyone else's.
What it counts
| Card | Counted from |
|---|---|
| Total Incidents | Incidents, by the date they occurred |
| Physical Interventions | Physical interventions (restraint), by the date they occurred |
| Missing from Care | Incidents carrying a missing classification |
| Complaints | Complaints, by the date they were received |
Missing-from-care episodes are also counted in Total Incidents. They are incidents with a missing classification, not a separate kind of record — so Missing should always be less than or equal to Incidents. Do not add the four numbers together and call it a total of anything.
The monthly table
Below the four cards, Monthly Trends — "Company-wide counts per month. Click a row to see per-home breakdown."
One row per calendar month, most recent first, with columns Period, Incidents, Restraints (PI), Missing and Complaints. A count above zero is shown in red; zero is grey. That is a visual cue, not a judgement — a month with one incident is not a bad month.
If you run more than one home, selecting a row expands it into a per-home breakdown, indented underneath, so you can see which home the figures came from. With a single home there is nothing to expand.
The date range
The page opens on the last six months — the current month plus the five before it — and the range in use is printed under the title, next to your company name.
The first and last months are partial where the range cuts through them, so compare whole months against whole months.
Reading it honestly
Counts are counts. A home with more incidents may be recording better, not behaving worse — and a home whose numbers fall sharply is worth a question, not a congratulation. Use this to decide where to look, not to decide what you found.
