I edited a log but the journal didn't change

What you're seeing. A log entry exists, but the journal section still looks the way it did.

Why it happens. Logs flow into journal sections only while the day is a draft. Once it has been submitted, the sections are a fixed snapshot.

How to fix it. If the day is still a draft, reopen it and check the section. If it's already submitted, the log itself remains on the record and the timeline — the journal section just won't restate it.
