What you're seeing. A swap in your approvals says "You cannot approve this one. It needs a different approver."

Why it happens. One of two things. Your organisation has set swaps to be approved by a company admin only. Or the swap is between two homes and you don't manage both.

If you are one of the people swapping, ARC refuses differently: "Someone else must decide a swap you are part of." Nobody approves their own swap.

How to fix it. Leave it for the approver your organisation has chosen. A company admin can change who approves swaps under Who approves shift swaps — see Approve leave, swaps and open-shift claims.

Who can fix it. A company admin, or the manager of both homes.
