Why it happens. It did not. ARC is not connected to Ofsted. ARC records the notifiable event and compiles a document with the required detail — you then submit it through Ofsted's own channel and record the reference and time back in ARC.

How to fix it. Submit through Ofsted's channel now if you haven't, then record the method, reference and time on the notification. That record, not the ARC entry alone, is your evidence.
