Founder & Residential Childcare Lead

Founder of ARC. More than eight years in residential childcare, from support worker to Registered Manager and operational leadership of children's homes.

Nic brings more than eight years of residential childcare experience to ARC, progressing from frontline support work through Registered Management and into operational leadership.

He has led children's homes, supported Registered Managers and senior teams, and worked extensively on safeguarding, compliance, care planning, risk management and quality improvement.

Nic has twice led significant service improvement, including taking homes from Requires Improvement to Good and from Inadequate to Good, as well as opening a new crisis home from the ground up.

At ARC, Nic makes sure what we build reflects the reality of residential childcare, from the paperwork and regulation to what actually happens during a shift.
